    My New Go-To

I've been eating lunch here pretty much 3 times a week since my co-worker turned me on to it earlier in the year. There are no places that I know of that make such a damn good sandwich consistently. I think a lot of that has to do with their breads, but as a foodie I also appreciate the balance of ingredients. They're not stuffed with cheap meat or salty sauces. Everything seems to be thoughtfully created. I really like their prosciutto and mozzarella on baguette. When I'm in a junk food mood they do a terrific boneless buffalo chicken wrap. When I'm feeling chubby, they have the best tuna in the area and they dont drown it in mayo. The price is right, usually around $6 for a real sandwich. Nice chips selection. Would be nice to see more sides. People working are always friendly, owner is always there and it seems that the line moves fast enough.

    Awesome Sandwich Shop

Ok so I went here expecting some croissanty bakery thing. They have croissants but not the fancy ones like at Au Bon Pain, just basic but very good butter croissants for egg sandwiches. I had one with sausage and cheese and egg - yumbolicious! I like the hazelnut iced coffee too. So I'm thinking, nice place for breakfast. Cool. I see they have a pretty big sandwich menu for lunch, so I go back a few days later with a couple of coworkers. All 3 of us are there all the time now. They have the best sandwiches - soooooo much better than a basic sub shop. I had a roast beef special on a garlic bread with a horseradish sauce and lettuce and tomato. It melted in my mouth. Jess had a Margherita. Not the drink (though why not grab one down the hall at Fire & Ice later???). Its a mozzarella and tomato and basil on a baguette and she thought it was the best lunch she had in a year. Robin had a turkey sandwich. Apparently they roast their turkey in house. She was very impressed. Nice people working there. It's like a nice neighborhood place where they seem to give a hoot that you're happy. The price is right too. I paid like $8.50 for a huge sandwich and a big bottle of seltzer. Very good for the Back Bay! I'm kinda picky, so if I go back again and again it has to be pretty good.
