Fabulous little place
On my way to work I go through Harvard Square. I recently started frequenting this little haunt, and am obsessed. The scone--I've tried 3 types--are amazing. They're moist, spongy, and just really yummy (the apricot lemon, maple oatmeal, and jalapeno cheddar were all amazing). The coffee is also awesome. I get lattes and they put foam art in the top! I always leave myself a little extra time to head over and grab a little something to start my day right. A wonderful little place!

Cozy coffee house in Brattle Square
a bustling coffeehouse in the heart of the Harvard Square street scene. The decor is warm and sleek. It's busy, the staff keeps the line moving pretty well. The coffee is very good, my espresso was nicely marked, the sandwiches (I had spinach-artichoke on focaccia, my DC had roasted eggplant and tomato) were well crafted. My pear ginger scone was superb--the baking is done in-house, and use Iggy's bread for the sandwiches) and DC's ginger cookie was lively. Seating can be tight. Portions are moderate, prices are fair.
