Seriously the BEST Thai food in all of Boston. I go probably three times a month, and every time I love it. Great prices, friendly staff, and most importantly- the food is delicious. The chicken pad thai, tamarind ginger & chicken yellow curry are my personal favorites- but everything is great!

Always excellent. I eat at Chow Thai at least twice a month. The food is alway perfect and the service is lovely. It is comfortable and affordable. When guests come to town Chow Thai is always their favorite meal they had in Boston even if the other meals out were fancy dining establishments with meals costing three and four times the price of Chow Thai. The owners are very friendly as well. This restaurant is excellent.

Ken's got a good thing going! New to Charlestown and decided to try out the neighborhood thai spot...was not disappointed in the least. Excellent selection, cozy dining room, and prompt service made for a great experience. Owner (Ken) came over and asked how things were -- gave that personal touch. Red curry + Singapore chicken noodle was excellent...as was the appetizer platter. Well worth it!

We were introduced to this restaurant by friends. We have plenty of Thai restaurants in our city, but choose to travel over 30 minutes to come here. LOVE the food. The owner, Dan, and his staff are very friendly too.

Chow Thai Cafe is an incredible Thai restaurant that has the best curry I can find anywhere in the city! I love their food and to top it off they're extremely nice people who are polite and very accommodating when you go in to eat or take out, and that's worth more than anything when it comes to great dining! I eat there at least 4 to 5 times a month and will continue to do so. Worth every penny.

Also the /only/ thai around in Charlestown, but consistently dependable. I've always wanted to compliment the kitchen on how they treat their veggies with respect. String beans emerge from a curry suce intact, crisp and still vibrantly green for example. Get to know the owner and before long you'll get a personal greeting whenever you visit.
