Excellent value, excellent food.
We frequent Chow Thai and absolutely love it there. The owners are so friendly and accommodating and the food is outstanding. It's a no thrills atmosphere, but just what we like in a neighborhood gem.

I Like it!
I have been ordering from Chow Thai for years...always good, always fresh...no MSG! I love having it as a local Thai restaurant...

Friendly Place
Friendly food places are hard to come by in Charlestown and Chow Thai is the exception to this unfortunate norm. The owner is kind and considerate. The food is great and inexpensive. I only wish there were more places like this in the neighborhood.

Charlestown's Best Kept Secret
I work in the Navy Yard and could never find a good option for a quick lunch and I stumbled onto Chow Thai Cafe and was pleasantly surprised. I love Pad Thai, and theirs is some of the best I have had...at $6 it is a great value and alternative to Sorelle and some of the other lunch places in town. The restaurant itself if also super-cute, I told a coworker that we should try it after work some night. Definitely looking forward to frequenting Chow Thai!

Great Food!
Chow Thai Cafe is a great neighborhood restuarant in Charlestown. The food and service is just fantastic. I have had Thai food all over the city and this spot belongs at the top! Favorite dish is the Massamun curry.

not good
Wow, I couldn't believe how mediocre this food is. There are no spices that you'd expect with Thai food, the food is bland, mine was overcooked, esp the beef. I think the good reviews here are by people who don't know what good thai food tastes like.

Delighted
It was absolutely delightful. I live in the Navy Yard and usually go to the North End or South End to dine. Tonight we wanted to avoid traffic and parking hassles. Reviews said Chow was great and I agree. The food was fantastic in presentation and taste. The service is amazing. Everyone is friendly and attentive. The owner met us and said "Hello." They make little straw flowers on the soft drinks and provide a journal with the check for customers to leave feedback and notes. I look forward to dining at Chow again and again. Highly recommend.
