delicious!
This is the most delicious restaurant I have ever been to. The family- owned restaraunt not only has a great menu which is resonably priced, but it also exudes a warm feeling once you enter to the smiling face of the owner. If you have never tried Middle Eastern food you must go here, and if you have be prepared to be blown away.

Just like my mother-in-law's (shhh)
My wife and I love going to this place, it's real home cooked Lebanese meals. This is a family ran place and it shows! I'm addicted to their hommus, incredibly creamy. Occasionally I drag a group of fellow employees down there for lunch which is always a nice break from the norm.

I've eaten in Syria and Lebanon...
This is the real deal. No fake pseudo middle eastern stuff here to entice the bland american taste buds...this is the real stuff. It's good, it's fresh, it's homemade from Mama's recipes...it's like being in someone's home in the middle east....they bring you a little bit at a time until you have to just say no more please no more and roll yourself out the door in true middle eastern hospitality fashion.

Like you've died and gone to heaven
...is how you will feel when you dig into one of Cafe Barada dishes. My favorite is futter, one of their specials, which is lamb simmered in a light tomato sauce (though i can't think of anything on the menu i don't like). Second only to Gloucester Street's Cafe Jaffa in Boston, there is no question that Barada is the best Middle Eastern restaurant this side of the river. Trust me, I'm a Middle Eastern food diehard. Bon apetit.
