Great Italian Food
This place never disappoints. I grew up in an Italian household and I have to say this place is pretty authentic.

Real Florentine food
I chose typically Tuscan foods and was not disappointed. Fettunta, white beans, pasta tossed in sage and butter. Red Tuscan wine. For dessert, a glass of vin santo and some cantuccini. And of course espresso. It reminded me of casual Florentine cafes in off-the-beaten-tourist-path corners of that great Tuscan city. Will definitely return next time I visit Boston. (There are southern Italian items on the menu, but I recommend eating Tuscan at this cafe with its heart on the Arno.)

North End on Newbury Street
Great Food, fresh, lots of flavor...quick service. Outdoor area for those great days but very small inside if dining in.
