    Hidden Gem

After two visits, this is one of the nicest Chinese restaurants in the area -- very clean, pleasant atmosphere, friendly and attentive staff, and good food at reasonable prices. Try it!

    best Chinese restaurant in Boston

We live next to Chinatown and prefer to drive to Bernard's for a great Chinese meal. We have been going to Bernard's for several years, before it moved from the mall to its present location. Great service, great food, great service. Worth the drive!

    Best Chinese Restaurant

From the wonton soup to the fantastic main dishes this is extraordinary. The spare ribs are meaty and tender. The soup is delicate and carefully prepared. Never had anything but the best here.

    a classic

bernard's is by far the best chinese restaurant in boston (maybe on the whole east coast!) the food is consistently delicious and the service is very friendly and attentive. i am seriously craving their ginger-scallion lobster now. i also recommend the daily specials. it's not cheap but you get what you pay for! quality!

Wow! I cannot believe anyone would consider this a good restaurant. Calling it mediocre would be kind.

    Greatest Chinese in Boston

The Best in Boston. I have only had better Chinese food in Hong Kong. You will not be disapointed with anything on the menu. If you don't like it there is somthing wrong with your sense of taste.

    Bucket list

So if you live in the boston area and have tried countless chinese resturants try no more. This is a must the Crab rangoons are amazing filled with a even distributed amount of crab. The chicken is all white meat no veins or bloody spots, you can tell they care about the consumer and want them to come back to enjoy. I do not think it is expensive to eat here either, on average i was spending 20-30 dollars to eat delivered chinese food or at various resturants with so so food. This resturant for two is roughly 25-60 dollars depending if you plan on having a drink or sharing a main entree. Well worth the drive and money to eat at this resturant. Hope this review helps with your decision!
