a disappointment
i can't believe that they can be so busy when the the food is so mediocre to bad. I eat out often, and had not had such a bad experience for a long time. The hop salad, risotto and oysters were all unappealing. wasted money.

trendy doesnt always mean good
I went to this spot b/c the word was that it was trendy and cool. The space was actually very nice with exposed brick and a low-ish ceiling. I was at the downstairs bar and I actually sat next to the bartenders gf. I overheard him tell her not to eat there b/c the food wasn't good,I also had read reviews saying the same thing. I also found it rude that the beer prices on the menu weren't as charged. i asked about it and they said they were raised by 50 cents and werent reflected on the menu. Too crowded/ As someone that goes out a ton I found it not worth going back although I heard the brunch is good I still wouldnt spend my money there again. Although, they do serve pretty good beer!

little sword fish in Kebobs
The sword fish kebobs were excellent in preparation, flavor and sides, but short of sword fish. We were advised that each serving had 8 ounces, but at most 4 were served

The Beehive is a welcome addition.
The restaurant is very busy and not conducive to conversation. It has a convenient location and draws a diverse clientele. The whole experience is greater than the sum of its parts.
