To Banq's credit, they have excellent starter bread accompanied by various dips (flavors change accordingly). Delicious, naan like round discs. Appetizer and our 3 dinners were mediocre due to a mix of some many flavors that the main ingredient (we had beef, chicken and seafood) could not stand on its own. We'll go for drinks only.

Was not impressed. As locals use to a neighborhood of amazing food this certainly did not live up to the neighborhood. The food was bland took a group of clients there and we all walked aways saying it was ok.

Am visiting Boston for a couple of days and saw this restaurant in a magazine and thought I would give it a try... I'm so glad I did. The food was out of this world. Perfect size portions (unlike most meals in America) and each one like a work of art. I would recommend the Flounder or Steak. The menu is small but don't let that put you off because each meal sounded beautiful (and I am a fussy eater!). The service was fantastic - very attentive and genuine. The restaurant is lovely - not too large and very trendy. Couldn't believe how quiet it was though. If this restaurant was in New York or London it would be packed every night. Will certainly go back there when I return to Boston.

The meal was excellent. The service was very good. However, it was so loud that we couldn't really enjoy our meal. We skipped dessert so that we could just get out of there. They need to absorb some of that sound somehow.
