Stopped for brunch on May 10. Party of 3 seated outside on a beautiful day, what could be better? Staff was polite and attentive. Placed our order and got our drinks within 2 minutes! This is when it all went downhill. After waiting 45 minutes for our food (and no, it wasn't busy) we asked where our food was. We were told it would be right out so we waited impatiently for 10 minutes. Now almost an hour after ordering, 2 of the 3 dishes arrived(eggs benedict), but no omelet (the 3rd dish). One of the eggs benedict was missing an ingredient! We informed the waitress and told her that after 1 hour, this was unacceptable. Again, if it were busy, I would understand but it wasn't. As we were ready to walk out, the manager came out and apologized. She did the right thing and offered a gift card. Since my wife and I live in NY and would have no use for it, we gave it to our daughter who works in event planning/food & beverage and lives in Boston. As we walked away, I asked my daughter how much the gift card was for and she opened the envelope. Drumroll please...... $30 Granted, they comped the bill (we never ate anyway) but it certainly ruined our day. But $30???? C'mon, if you really want me to come back, give me some incentive. $30 won't pay for 1 person Obviously, there were a few fumbles by the waitress, the chef, and the manager. I guess you can call that teamwork. With so many GREAT restaurants in Boston, I see no reason to come back. If you want a GREAT brunch, go to Stephanie's! or anywhere else!

Went here for brunch, after ordering drinks we waited 20 minutes before we got them at the table. Once we ordered our brunch entrées we waited 50 minutes to get them. The food was good but you should never have to wait that long at a nice restaurant. They were fully staffed as well, no excuses for the service.

Not many people know about the downstairs bar here. It's a great spot to hideaway during the fall or winter and have some homestyle American comfort food! The cocktails are fanastic too, prohibition era recipes that are really unique. Definitely a fall/winter favorite, check it out!

Cool approachable place on boylston. Menu is exciting, not typical and boring. Great decor and vibe, cool drinks and wine list. Love it
