    Eat The Chicago Beef

This place is great and I love that its not a chain. They make their own roast beef and the Chicago Beef is rare roast beef on a grilled garlic french baguette with horseradish sauce and it might be the best sandwich I ever had. So much going on with it. I like the Italian sub and theres a great menu of chicken wraps like boneless buffalo. You might have to ask for extra napkins cuz they usually give you 1 or 2. Price is amazing for the quality and when you go after 3 the deal is 8 bucks for any sandwich with chips and a water. Long lines aren't a big deal they move very fast. Not a ton of seating so I usually just bring it back to the cube.

    A Boston Star

Perfect name. Sandwiches. In the Back Bay. So what's there to making great sandwiches? I dunno, but I don't know too many places that are so damn good and consistent and creative. The Italian and BBQ selections are maybe the best I ever had. THe roast beef on garlic bread with horseradish mustard made me forget Kellys. Fish taco on a wrap today blew my mind. Theres cheaper places nearby (not that much cheaper maybe $1 or so) and a fancy grocer making upscale sammies down the hall (for $1 or 2 more) but nothing as good by far. After 3 (?) until close their special is $8 for any sandwich, chips and can of soda so even if you're low on cash its cheap!!

I've been eating here and their old place for 4 years and its always perfect. They got chicken wraps that make me climb over snowbanks to get to and they got a steak and cheese sandwich that they say ain't from Philly because its better and they aren't lying. The kid making my sandwich says so if i like them so much why not tell the world, so here I am.

    Never disappointed

As with a poster before, there are many many places to get a quick sandwich in the Back Bay -- I always wind up back here. Today I had turkey, lettuce, honey mustard on a bulky. Simple and better then I could have made at home. Well run shop and looks like no turnover of staff. A line to the door but still had my sandwich in less then 10 minutes. And yes, sell some t-shirts!

    Loving it

I have like 50 places I can eat lunch at every day but I usually end up here because the food is great, the prices are very reasonable and the cashier always greets me with a smile and the guys ask how I'm doing before giving me my food. I really like this place and my friends eat here all the time too. Get the turkey sandwiches kuz they cook their own. I like the egg and cheese on bagel in the morning. These are the best bagels I ever had.

    Best sandwiches in Boston

I have never had a bad sandwich here. They have a great system where they ask for your sandwich before you order so it's done after you pay. Abdul is great! Everyone is always smiling and make sure you're having a great day. I'd eat here for lunch every day if I could.

Just as bad as when it was Croissant Du Jour

Just went here for a simple toasted bagel with cream cheese. It took for ever to get because the guys behind the counter were more into socializing than making the customer's sandwiches. There were three customers in the place and --no lie-- 5 workers. It still took 15 minutes to get a bagel with cream cheese. When I got back to the office and opened up the bag, I realized the bagel was burnt beyond being edible. I'd hate to think how this place operates during the busy lunch time.
