I would not go back. It really was' t special. The red sauce was good. The rolled eggplant was great. My seafood and pasta dish was overcooked and not much flavor. My son and his gf had lasagna and it was very good. My wife had a salmon salad that was dry.

I absolutely love El Dente. I travel from souther New hampshire with my girlfriends to come to this place. Although it may appear like a hole-in-the wall, the food is outstanding and the service is wonderful! I always have a nice portion of left-overs to take home which is always a plus!

We went with our two children, ages 9 and 12, who can be picky eaters. We all loved our meals, and devoured the leftovers the next day. It's a small, cozy setting with excellent food and very reasonable prices. They don't have a full bar, just beer, wine and cordials, and they don't serve dessert, but offered us a complementary Limoncello and directions to Mike's Pastry, another gem. The best part for us was our server, Margie. She was warm, friendly, funny and knew the menu. We can't wait to go back!

This is the best Italian restaurant I have ever eaten in! We went back two nights in a row. The second night was even better than the first. The staff is warm, friendly and wonderful. We are still talking about the food, and we have been back "home" for two weeks.

Made a reservation for 8PM was finally seated at 9PM. All the while watching "special people" seem to go around us. Once inside it is as loud as a rock concert. Food is just ok. Plenty of other places to go in N. End. I will never return here. Prices are reasonable though. I don't understand the attraction.

Found this place through menupages when visiting Boston. No recent reviews. We had a really great time. The food was excellent. The prices are reasonable. The service was attentive. Complete flexibility on how your food was prepared. I would go there again in a heartbeat. This is my first post to menupages because I want to see this restaurant survive the economy until my next trip to Boston!

Wow- recommended by a friend, and it was great. It is a bit small, but the food was outstanding! Our waitress was fabulous and friendly. Even the hostess went out of her way to come and talk with us- Great experience in the North End.
